About Us at Bergs Mekaniska

Bergs Mekaniska was founded by Sten-Ove Berg in Molkom in 1984. Today, it is run by his sons, Morgan and Per-Inge. The company has always been located in the same place, growing steadily by investing in more machines, hiring more staff, and expanding the facilities. Now, 40 employees work in the modern 3500-square-meter facility.

We aim to help both small and large companies, maintaining that a customer is always a customer regardless of size.

Today, we have customers all over Sweden and deliver components to several different industries such as the automotive industry, mining industry, construction, civil engineering, and even the design industry.

Bergs Mekaniska was founded, and we invested in our first plasma and gas cutting machines.

Expansion with new production facility and office, totaling 1000 square meters.

Invested in a waterjet cutting machine.

We expanded further with a new production facility of 1200 square meters.

To broaden our offerings, we installed a blasting machine.

We installed a laser machine, introducing a completely new cutting method and new opportunities for us.

We invested in three press brakes, allowing us to bend sheet metal and offer more services to our customers.

We took a significant step by installing our first processing machine, enabling us to offer customers machined components.

We expanded with a 1200 square meter tent, where we can store materials that are sensitive to moisture and other environmental factors.

Warehouse Tent No. 2 installed. An additional 1200 square meters, now totaling 2400 square meters of covered storage space.

Investment in two UZ-50 edge bevelling machines, making us the first in Sweden to have this type of machine.

Investment in a new OKUMA machining center

Investment in a Kimtech waterjet machine. The cutting table measures 21.6 x 3.4 meters.

A new separate office building constructed, covering 300 square meters.
